The Mesquite GATORS board welcomes you to our official website.. A rewarding and challenging experience awaits you as parents, grandparents, siblings and fans of our ELITE ORGANIZATION! There are 12 organizations throughout Mesquite Division 1 Football & Drill (MD1) all which reside in the Mesquite Texas area. Mesquite has long been considered the Pee Wee Football Capital and the GATORS are proud to be a part of that legacy! The GATORS organization is one of the largest organizations in Mesquite. We are proud to say, we have won numerous titles and Championships! Established in 1999 the Mesquite GATORS have been one of the largest organizations for the past 15 years! The GATORS Football and Drill teams range from the age of 4 years up to 13 years of age.
Each year our Football and Drill teams advance to the playoffs and move on to the City Competition, usually with great results! In 2015, the GATORS finished the season with all four Drill Teams winning the 2015 SOUTH ZONE CHAMPIONSHIP and BEST CONTUME!!! Flag Drill (Chef Divas), directed by Ms. Shannon Cox, won 2015 1st Runner-up at the City Competition. Our E team Drill (Wind up Dollz), Directed by Ms. Megan Aslin, Our D team Drill (Rhythm Nation 1814) Directed by Ms. Tymeika Anderson and our C team Drill (Dark Queen's) Directed by Ms. Kendra Steward, ALL won the CITY CHAMPIONSHIP!!! Congratulations to all the GATORS Drill teams for an OUTSTANDING season!
Our Flag Football team ended the regular season with a 4-4 record, advancing to the playoff as the #7th seed in the flag division, ending the season as the 2015 Quarter Finals finalist! Way to Work Hard & Play Hard all season boyz!! Our E team football team ended the season undefeated with an 8-0 record, winning the 2015 SOUTH ZONE CHAMPIONSHIP, advancing to the playoffs as the #1 seed in the E division and ending the season as the 2015 Semi Finals finalist! Great Season Boyz!. Our D Team football team also had a great season! The D boyz played hard all season long ending the regular season with a 4-4 record in the D division, advancing to the playoffs as the #7th seed and ending the season as the 2015 Semi-Finals finalists! Way to Work Boyz! C Team football was unstoppable this year! A very talented group of Boyz! They were the team to beat!! The C Team Boyz ended the regular season undefeated with an 8-0 record in the C division, winning the 2015 SOUTH ZONE CHAMPIONSHIP, advancing to the playoffs as the #2 seed, winning the 2015 Quarter finals game, advancing to the Semi-finals, winning the 2015 Semi Finals game, moved on to the CITY CHAMPIONSHIP and ended the season as the 2015 City Finalist. Way to finish on TOP Boyz! Congratulations to all the GATORS Football Teams for a GREAT season!
